Top Tips – Financial Freedom is your Birthright!!!

Linda Smith

Examine your beliefs about money – this is where it starts! Take a moment to look at your “context” for money.
Do you find yourself saying – it is not enough, there is not enough?
Or do you say, there will be enough, it is enough?
You will notice that either way, you are right.
What the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve. ~ Napoleon Hill

Thankfulness – being grateful! It is a critical aspect of maintaining your focus and wellbeing. Focus on all that you do have in your life and are grateful for.
Notice how life feels much better, life feels richer when you do that!
Who is wealthy? One who is happy with what they have. ~ Pirkei Avot

Giving – tithing - share the abundance, spread it around. Just because you can!
True generosity has very little to do wit what you have, but everything to do with who you are. ~ Suze Orman

Save R5 everyday – a little bit, everyday, together with compound interest over time, and you are on your way to becoming a millionaire!!!
The more I practice, the luckier I become. ~ Gary Player

Pay off your bond – within 5 years – those extra R100’s or R1000’s do make a significant difference to the end result. You save yourself thousands in interest!!! Make the commitment and follow through!!

Save – even while you are paying off debt. Yes, even if it is only 1% of your gross income, a small amount, consistently, makes a big difference. Become debt free out of savings.

Look for investments / business opportunities - passive income - there are some good opportunities out there. Do your research. Don’t invest more than you can afford to lose, for example, if it is the stock market.
Let your money grow through your business and investment interests.

Saving – build your own emergency fund – everybody needs one of these.
Having an emergency fund means you can deal powerfully with an emergency, having no emergency fund means that when an emergency occurs, it becomes a double emergency because there are no funds to deal with it. The emergency can then result in getting into more debt, which is the last thing you need at that time!

Keeping track of day to day spending - Use an abundance diary. It is a practical day to day tool to guide you towards financial peace of mind.
Have a plan – structure – is essential.
Failing to plan means that you are planning to fail.

The Abundance Diary provides the structure for this exact purpose.
It is a central point where you can record your spending, savings, outline goals, review results and record your daily gratitude’s!

Retail therapy, it is only skin deep – don’t allow yourself to fall into that trap. All that stuff won’t give you true satisfaction and happiness.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. ~ Albert Schweitzer

Always dream – and remember, imagination is your currency! Life is a journey, enjoy the ride. ~ Unknown
